  • Role: to provide a forum for collaboration concerning interoperable geoscience information and processing services
  • Organization:
    • Steering Committee
      • Membership: JohnLaxton (chair), TimDuffy, SteveRichard, OliverRaymond, JeanJacquesSerrano, JouniVuollo
      • Responsibilities:
        • Work/content coordination
          • coordinates formation of task groups, setting of task group goals and timescales

          • initial point of contact with external parties
          • liaison with collaborators outside the geological survey community
    • GeoSciML Interest Community
      • informal "at large" membership
      • participate in TWiki and e-mail discussions
      • notification of events and invitations to join task groups

In order to improve communication between the Steering Committee and the wider GeoSciML community a SteeringGroupDiscussion page has been set up. This will provide feedback on Steering Group discussions and decisions and invite input from the community. This page can also be used by members of the community to raise issues for discussion by the Steering Group
