Metadata for GeoChem Data Services

This map layer is generated by a query against a standardised data access service. The layer name indicates the analtye and a threshhold value with units of measure - e.g. (Au 5 ppm) indicating that the layer shows only those specimen locations where measurements of Au > 5 ppm occurred.

This metadata record could be extended to include:
  1. compulsory metadata using ANZLIC metadata

However, this is an interesting case: technically I believe this metadata relates to a "Data Product Description" under ISO 19131 terminology. The behaviour is pre-defined by a governance arrangement, and the instance needs specific service metadata. More work is required to work out where and how such metadata elemented should be deployed and linked, but logically it should be published via the WFS capabilities.
