SCENZ-GRID Project Milestones

These milestones are the contracted milestones for the initial project phase. During this phase we expect to raise funds to for subsequent phases which will develop and implement specific workflows, probably using the Keplar workflow tool. The GEON LiDAR workflow is considered to be a prime candidate for early funding.

Milestone 1 - Achieved

30 Sep 2007 Milestone 1 : Report providing list of software to be used and hardware specifications for servers to be purchased.

The following tables represent our initial understanding and intentions, the master version of this document is held on the SCENZ-GRID's sakai collaboration space on the BestGrid server. The hardware sited is in intended to be sufficient for project members to experiment with and perform performance tests in order to scope a larger operational system.
