Project Overview
The SISS4BoM Project will see the SISS team within CSIRO work with the Bureau under the WIRADA activity to further assist in preparing the Bureau in the delivery of water and environment information via open standards using the Spatial Information Services Stack (SISS). The SISS is an interoperable architecture and SDI that encompasses best practices and leverages open source software to deliver information via open standards.
The FY2013 project would enable the Bureau to align with initiatives such as WaterML2 and INSPIRE, and further assist with them meeting their Water and Environment commitments.
This work continues efforts from FY2011/12 in the Australian Spatial Research Data Commons (
ASRDC) with a solid focus on ensuring service infrastructure is deployed into production within the Bureau
